Truthfully, a few things went a little haywire at Emma and Carl’s ceremony last Friday.  There were some mix-ups with the music, a bit of confusion during the processional, and someone forgot to light the candles until the middle of the ceremony.  But I didn’t hear either one of these guys complain once – they were just happy to be married.  After dating for 10 years, I guess it was about time for them to get hitched, and they did so at the Resurrection Lutheran Church with a reception at the Two Hearts Banquet Center.  Emma and Carl are exceptionally sweet and considerate (no one has ever insisted I eat dinner so many times!)  Congratulations to them!

Here are just a few shots from the Yoga For Peace event yesterday in Tower Grove Park.  For anyone who doesn’t do a lot of yoga, 108 Sun Salutations is A LOT – it’s like the marathon of yoga.  Everyone at the event did really well, although I think after the first 20 or so they started to wonder what they got themselves into :)  After I got the shots I was looking for I did about 65 of the 108 Sun Salutations (so I guess I did something like the yoga half-marathon….)  It was a great event, and I hope everyone there had a great time – even if they are a little sore today!

I’m having a really productive Sunday, so I’m doing two blog posts today!  Jennifer and Patrick got engaged in Lafayette Park a year ago, so we went there today for their engagement photos.   I couldn’t resist putting a ton of their images in black and white – these guys just look so good in black and white for some reason :)  They aren’t getting married until October 2009, so I probably won’t see them again for another year.  They are such planners!

Elizabeth is my album designer – isn’t she cute?  She needed an updated photo for her new website that is just getting off the ground.  Of the ones we took today in the park, this one is my favorite.  You’ll have to check out her site in the next few weeks to see which one she selects (this is where I would insert a link to her site, if I knew what it was!!)  I love Elizabeth because she keeps me from being totally bogged down in album designs – trust me, she does a better job much faster than I ever did!  Thanks Elizabeth :)
