I’m leaving today on vacation to Lake Atitlan, Guatemala – yay!  I’ll be gone until Sunday March 8th, and I’ll be back in the office working on March 9th.  I’ll be periodically checking email while I am gone, but the response time will be much longer than normal.  I appreciate your patience!

Their wedding from last October was selected by The Knot Magazine as a featured wedding!  It will appear in the Fall/Winter issue, which will be on newsstands in June.  The Knot people called me today to verify name spelling, but I’m not sure which images they’ve selected.  I’m sure this one will be in there, though.  Now everyone out there can mooch off their great wedding ideas. :)

The last time I photographed this family, Jenna was just over a year old.  Now she’s a little past 2 years – and has the most adorable pigtails!  There was a bit of disagreement between Jenna and her parents about the pigtails (she was not pleased), but I’m glad they persisted.  She looks so cute!  Last time I caught photos of her crawling down the hall – this time she was on her little bike.  Next time who knows what she’ll be doing!

Mika is just shy of a month old, which makes her just about the perfect age for infant photos.  Like most babies, she was a little camera shy at first, but she eventually let me take photos of her both awake and asleep (which is an accomplishment.)  She’s so sweet!

A friend of mine usually teaches this class, but she had a baby just 3 weeks ago – so I’ve stepped up to do it this year.  Lover’s Yoga is being offered at Urban Breath in Dogtown on February 14th.  It’s 90 minutes of partner stretching for just $25/couple (trust me, it’s cheaper than most places!)  You don’t have to know any yoga to participate, and it’s going to be a lot of fun.  Check it out HERE, and sign up early.  This class usually sells out quickly.  Hope to see you there!
