High Point Academy Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

After four years of learning in temporary mobile units, the students of High Point Academy finally have a building to call home.  And what a spectacular building it is.  I had the pleasure of photographing the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at High Point Academy last week, and I must admit I was impressed by the quality of schools these days.  Smart boards in all of the classrooms?  How cool is that!  Congratulations to everyone who worked hard to get this school built and running – job well done :)

Canteen Catering Showcase Event

Gazpacho shooters, tuna tartar, a barbecue bar, and even a milk and cookies station.  All these delicious dishes, and plenty more, were served at Canteen Catering’s showcase event at the Space Gallery off Santa Fe.  Canteen Catering specializes in kosher catering in the Denver area.  These guys did an great job putting on the event – all the food looked fantastic.  I’ll admit to stealing cupcake for the road.  It was quite delicious :)

Have a Happy Labor Day Weekend!

Boudoir Marathons A $50 deposit is required to book your time slot on a marathon day.  Any hair and makeup fees will be due upfront, since I pay the stylist in advance.  This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Thanks for wading through the boring business stuff.  Since everything is better with a photo, here’s an engagement favorite :)

The Knot Industry Party

Last night The Knot hosted their annual Industry Party, this year planned by Lacy Branch Events.  Lacy asked a couple of photographers to come down and take some photos for her, so I joined Von DeVore and Kelly Park to photograph the event.  I think peacock was the theme – bright colors and feathers everywhere!  This was the third time I’ve shot at Mad Art in Soulard, and I love it more every time.  The lighting and artwork is fantastic.  I was only able to stay for about an hour, so I missed most of the party (and apparently red velvet cake!)  I’m glad I got to be there for that short stint to see everyone!
