Luna

I think the photos speak for themselves – Luna is an adorable puppy.  She’s four months old, and her interests include being chased around the tree, eating random sticks in the yard, and napping.  It’s a good life for this pup.

Luna has already been given a good home by a friend of mine, who found her through Colorado Puppy Rescue and will probably spoil her in the best way possible.  So stop thinking about stealing her (like I was) – go adopt one of your own :)

Happy Tuesday!

Dave + Sadie

Like most of us, Dave is multidimensional.  He has a corporate side – suit, tie, jacket.  Serious accountant Dave.  But then he has his casual side – jeans, baseball cap, tennis shoes.  Happy dog owner Dave.

We combined both sides into one for his portrait shoot yesterday.  Dave had photos of him alone, so I thought Sadie should get some, too.  She’s just so darn cute.

St. Louis Spring Portrait Week!

So I seriously considered doing a portrait marathon day in St. Louis – one of those long days where everyone gets 30 minutes of  my time, and hardly any of my attention.  But let’s be real – how much can you really get out of a 30 minute session?  If nothing else, I want to be able to talk to all of my favorite St. Louis people for more than 30 minutes and catch up on life!  So instead, I’m offering a week of full sessions!

A limited number of appointments will be scheduled during the week of June 9 – June 14th.  We’ll go anywhere you want to have your picture taken and do a full session (none of this mini business!)  You’ll also get a DVD with a high resolution copy of every photo from your session, with no copyright restrictions. I’ve raised prices in Denver to $350 for this kind of session, but for this week in St. Louis it’s only $250!  (You save $100 just ’cause I like you :) ).

These sessions will likely fill up quickly, so please contact me as soon as possible to set up your time!  I’m so excited to shoot in St. Louis!

Leo

It’s tax day – how about something cute and calming to look at?  Like a kitty?

This comic pretty much sums up what I looked like photographing Leo (be sure to read the rollover text, too).  He’s so soft and cuddly, and just enormous.  I made ridiculous faces and did stupid crazy cat lady talk.  He’s just that cute.

And did I mention huge?  He’s 20lbs, and nearly impossible to pick up because he’s just so noodle-like you can hardly support him.  What a sweetheart.  Happy Tax Day.

Ozzie

Sometimes I’m the crazy cat lady.  More often than I’d like to admit, really.  I talk to the cat as though he understands me.  I explain what’s going on with clients and complain about my computer frustrations.  I try to convince him that stepping on the keyboard is not, in fact, a good idea.

I can’t help it – working from home gets a little lonely.  I have few complaints about working in my house (the commute is stellar, as is the dress code), but some days I miss having office mates to chat with.  So instead, I talk to the kitty.  He’s like my little fuzzy coworker.  Well, I suppose it’s more like talk at the kitty.  He rarely responds.  And if he could, he’d probably agree that I’m totally nuts.

  1. Laurie said: Ozzie's blog debut! These are precious. And you'll only be a crazy cat lady if you make a whole album of these and display it on your coffee table. Oh wait, Little Beth has her own photo album...that's not weird at all.     March 29, 2010 @ 8:50 pm
